Micro Wind Power

Scale of wind  we can help you with

Generally Micro-wind up to 50kW is most appropriate for the average farmer, factory or domestic energy consumer trying to contain their energy costs.  On occasions you can push this perhaps to 250kW. Finance is usually the limiting factor

Historically wind has given the best return on investment with payback periods varying between 4-8 years depending on how it is funded, shorter periods for larger units.

What we can do for you

ReGenTech can offer wind turbine project design and installation services.  We offer:

Services offered reflect the planning process

If you wish to install a system ReGenTech recommends and offers the following sequential steps.

  1. Assess site Initial site assessment, usually by satellite picture.  We also discuss your aspirations, energy needs, invest objectives, land you own. Establish scale and provide outline economic figures.
  2. Contact Grid Can the grid take the power, if so at what cost.  We write to the DNO (District Network Operator).  The DNO will advise if they can take it and how much it will cost.
  3. Site measurement, if any doubts arise on site wind resource site measurement may be prudent.  This is not always required
  4. Firm up Proposition finalise economic assessment.  This what you/we shall use with the funders
  5. Planning Now we implement the planning process for you simultaneously investigating funding options.  This can take 8 weeks to 12 months, can be longer.
  6. Installation & Commissioning:  On completion of planing we shall plan and implement installation and commissioning, connection to the grid and establishment of FIT and take off contracts.
  7. Lifetime support offering periodic service support and emergency response
